Here, you can see all team members currently at our Central Coast dental practice. We are a family practice with family values, and we will spare no effort to accommodate any specific requirements you may have. In addition to undertaking procedures, we offer an array of dental products – including implants, mouthguards, splints and more.
Dr Jimmy Rao
Principal Dentist – BDS
Jimmy graduated as a general dentist (B.D.S) Mumbai, India 2002 and then undertook further training in orthodontics in Russia for 2 years. He gained his registration as a general dentist in Australia in 2012.
Jimmy is passionate about cosmetic treatments and braces undergoing regular continuing education courses to stay up to date with the latest in dentistry. He loves seeing his patients happy with the amazing smiles Jimmy creates. Jimmy speaks fluent in Russian, Hindi & English and has worked in diverse places including Lismore and Casino in the Northern Rivers of NSW but has now settled at his practices in Lake Haven, Kanwal and Cardiff.
Jimmy has a passion for music and whilst your in his surgery you will definitely hear some of his favourite music. Jimmy has a wonderful wife who is a passionate school teacher and two beautiful children. On the weekends you will find him riding my motorbike, stand up paddle boarding and learning how to fish.
Dr Kathrina Klinar
Associate Dentist - Med Sci (Hons), B. Dent.
Dr Kathrina Klinar completed her Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours in 2005 and Bachelor of Dentistry in 2009 at The University of Sydney. She was awarded the Rudolf Gunz University medal for her proficiency in knowledge and clinical work in dentistry. Kathrina worked in private practices in Bathurst, Lithgow and Orange. She was also involved as a clinical tutor at Charles Sturt University Bachelor of Dentistry program before moving to the Central Coast in 2012.
Dr. Klinar currently holds the position of Senior Dental Officer at Gosford Hospital. She is also one of the Associate Dentists of Dental at Lake Haven. Kathrina’s fields of interest in dentistry are cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and dental management of medically compromised patients. Her passion is in providing best care whilst achieving in delivering dental excellence helps Kathrina provide a great experience to her patients. Kathrina is an active member of the Australian Dental Association New South Wales (ADANSW). She is a member of the ADANSW Advocacy Committee.
Kathrina is a mentor and a professional support for Bachelor of Dental Surgery students from Adelaide University and Bachelor of Oral Health students from Newcastle University. Kathrina enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three daughters. She loves raising her young family on the beautiful Central Coast.
Dr Nicolle Godfrey
Associate Dentist - BOralH (Dent Sc) GDipDent
Growing up in Lismore in Northern NSW, Nicolle made the move to the Gold Coast to study at Griffith University, where she graduated with a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry. Nicolle kept herself busy working as a dental assistant for the 5 years whilst she studied, where she got the pleasure of assisting Dr Jimmy.
She had the very challenging but rewarding opportunity to work in Stanthorpe, which is a town located in rural QLD. She was there for 5 months on placement, where she was faced with a diverse range of dental experiences.
Nicolle has a very gentle, caring and calm nature, and strives to make every patient feel at ease in the dental chair. She believes that a trip to the dentist should be a comfortable and positive experience. In her spare time Nicolle enjoys travelling, hitting the slopes and spending time with friends and family
Dr Anna Yip
Anna grew up in Hong Kong, completed her Bachelor of Science at University of California, Los Angeles. She came to Australia in 2010, worked as a dental assistant for 3.5 years before studying and receiving Graduate Diploma in Dentistry with Dr Godfrey at Griffith University.
Anna was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. She has experience working in both in public hospital and private practice.
Anna speaks fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English, she has treated patients with diverse cultural backgrounds. Anna had dental anxiety when she was a child, she is passionate about providing a relaxing and painless environment for patients.
Anna enjoys reading, making bread, hiking and having a picnic with friends on the weekends.
Principal Dental Hygienist – BOralHealth (UON)
Fran was among the first cohort of dental hygienists in NSW to graduate from the University of Newcastle Bachelor of Oral Health degree program in 2007. She offers expertise in her field with a passion for educating children on best Oral hygiene practices at home. Fran has two teenage children and understands the importance to motivate teens to take care of their personal oral hygiene. Fran works alongside Jimmy in a team that provides full oral health care and more.
Oral Health Therapist – Dip DT BOralHealth (UON) Ext Scope
Stacey was born & bred in Mudgee. She left the “bush” to pursue her career as an oral health therapist. Stacey is a highly experienced clinician and has been making smiles beautiful for approximately 17 years. She graduated top of her class in Dental therapy with a high distinction average and was presented with the Kathleen Cusack memorial award for recognition of academic achievement. Since graduating Stacey has worked in a variety of rural and remote areas including Dubbo, Mudgee and as far west as Cobar where she participated in the Royal Flying Doctors service.
Stacey is very passionate about Oral Health promotion and she has spent a large proportion of her career servicing disadvantaged children. After settling on the central coast, she has gained valuable experience in specialist periodontal services and general practice.
Oral Health Therapist - BOralHealthTherapy (UON)
Adriana has been apart of the dental industry for 11 years. She began her career in dental as a dental assistant. Originally from Illawarra, Adriana decided to make the move to Lake Macquarie to further her studies at The University of Newcastle. She graduated in 2017 with distinction and was awarded the Kathleen Cusack memorial award for her achievements. Adriana always strives to make clients experiences at their dental appointment as relaxed and comfortable as possible. She loves putting a smile on everyone’s faces. She looks forward to meeting and looking after you.
Dental Hygienist - BoralHealth (UON)
Karyn has a passion for continuing education and is a qualified trainer for Hunter TAFE, training the next generation of Dental assistants.
Karyn has two children and enjoys spending her weekends entertaining friends and family.
She loves to make people smile and you may hear her singing away sometimes without realizing as she loves music. Ashley is an animal lover and on the weekends, you will find her at the beach with her dog Freddie or spending quality time with family and friends.
Hollie is an artist and works on this passion in her spare time, as well as maintaining a healthy obsession with her dog, Chelsea. She enjoys going out for breakfast, being at the beach, and spending time with her friends.
Jo enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. They are often adventuring on weekends away camping and having fun.
Before joining us at Dental at Lake Haven she worked as a dental assistant, treatment and clinic coordinator and dental practice manager and is very passionate about her job.
Lee is bright and bubbly with a kind and caring nature to welcome you at the front desk when you attend for your appointment. Lee is available to answer your dental questions when you call the practice.
With her warm and caring nature she understands the importance of making people feel comfortable and at ease when coming into the dental atmosphere.
Outside of work Sharyn enjoys her family and friends, cooking, gardening and keeping active.
